An Opera star has been locked in for a one-off performance in Wangaratta to raise money for the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation. Josh Piterman, who will play a lead role in Phantom of the Opera in Sydney later this year, will perform in the city on Mother’s Day. Blue Ribbon North East branch president Graeme Simpfendorfer said the event had been secured for this region only. “We’re very proud to announce that we’re having a one-off show at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre on Mother’s Day,” he said. “We’ve been lucky to secure Josh Piterman in this show, and to have this concert to raise much-needed funds to put back into our health system locally. “It definitely is an opportunity to have such an…
