Wodonga TAFE ram raid man admits guilt, wants to move on | The Border Mail

A man involved in a ram raid at Wodonga TAFE nearly two years ago says he just wants to get on with his life. Ayden Patrick Walsh on Thursday admitted to his role in the incident in the early hours of May 11, 2019. He stole a Kia light truck belonging to JC Butko Engineering that morning. The vehicle was seen on security cameras reversing into the TAFE multiple times, smashing glass and an ATM machine. A second person was involved in the incident, which involved the pair attempting to pull out the cash machine using straps tied to the truck. Jack McLean was charged but the matter was dropped at committal, allowing him to be released. The crime caused about $120,000 in damage to the McKoy Street building. …
